Pastor Josh and his wife have a heart to see people encounter Jesus, discover their purpose, and find a place where they truly belong.
Their passion is to share the hope of Jesus, build strong relationships, and serve the Denton community with love and compassion.
At The Potter’s House, we believe church is more than a building. It is a family—a place where people can connect, grow in faith, discover their purpose, and make a difference.

Pastor Josh and his wife believe ministry is more than a calling—it is a life of serving others. Their desire is to see people experience the love of Jesus, grow in their faith, and discover the purpose God has for their lives.
Together, they are committed to building a church family where everyone is welcomed, encouraged, and given the opportunity to grow and serve.

PASTORAL HISTORY
A Journey of Faith, Calling & Service

A LIFE IN MINISTRY
Ministry has been apart of Pastor Josh's life for as long as he can remeber. Growing up as a pastor's son, he was actively involved in nearly every area of church ministry, developing a deep love for the local church and a heart to serve people.

2009-2013 - PIONEERING IN MYRTLE BEACH
In July 2009, Pastor Josh and his family stepped out to pioneer their first church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This season strengthened their calling to evangelism, discipleship, and church planting.

2014-2019 - MISSIONARIES IN CHINA
In January 2014, they answered the call to become missionaries in China, where they served until November 2019. Through the work established there, six churches continue to thrive, with disciples carrying on the work of reaching people and building the church.

2019-2020- A SEASON IN BULLHEAD CITY
After unexpectedly returning to the United States, their family spent a season in Bullhead City, Arizona, serving alongside and assisting their leadership church.

2020-2024 - PIONEERING IN HENDERSON
In 2020, their family moved to Henderson, Nevada, to once again pioneer and build a church. During their time there, they saw disciples raised up and planted a new church in Fresno, California. Eventually, they entrusted the Henderson congregation to a disciple from within the church who stepped into the role of pastor.

2024-2025 - FOLLOWING GOD'S DIRECTION
In July 2024, they believed God was leading their family back toward ministry in Asia, specifically Hong Kong. Although those plans did not unfold as expected, God redirected their family after they had lived their one month, leading them to Texas.

2026- PRESENT - A NEW CHAPTER IN DENTON
In August 2026, Pastor Josh and his family became part of the church here in Denton, Texas. They are genuinely excited about what God is doing and what lies ahead.

Through every city, every church, and every season, our heart has remained the same: to reach people with the Gospel, make disciples, develop leaders, strengthen families, and plant churches that will continue reaching others for generations to come.
